Vacuum thermocouples are suitable for use in vacuum processes with 10-4 mbar to 20 bar overpressure, such as vacuum soldering or hardening processes. Versions with holding tubes enable precise positioning in the space to be measured.

All thermo-control Körtvélyessy GmbH thermocouples are pressure-resistant up to 20 bar overpressure. However, the process connection is the limiting factor, which forces the maximum pressure to be limited to a lower pressure.
The version with a holding tube involves the risk that the thermocouple will be shot out like a rocket if the screw connection is incorrectly installed. A bracket, chain or similar measure must be installed.
