Precision Calibration Thermocouples for Industrial Applications
Our test thermocouples (SAT thermocouples) enable accurate in-situ comparative measurements of inert-gas and vacuum thermocouples without interrupting the process. With AMS 2750 calibration and up to an 8-year warranty for Type S and R, they offer the highest level of reliability.
A thermo-control innovation from the 1980s: An integrated hollow tube in the thermocouple ensures simple and precise measurements directly during operation. Advantages of our test thermocouples:
- ✓ 2.5 mm-thick insulating rods made of 99.7% Al₂O₃ for maximum precision
- ✓ Handle with a 2.5-meter extension cord, with bare ends as standard
- ✓ Standard lengths from 400 to 1,600 mm, customizable upon request
- ✓ Calibration certificate, traceable to a national standard
- ✓ Type S and R PtRh-Pt models with up to an 8-year warranty against drift and thermocouple wire breakage
- ✓ Recalibration interval: 10 years
- ✓ 30 mm Plexiglas transport tube for safe storage
- ✓ Optional DAkkS or AMS 2750 calibration certificate
- ✓ Custom cable assemblies available upon request

Applications of Test Thermocouples
Our test thermocouples provide precise in-situ comparative measurements in industries such as aviation, the automotive industry, and metalworking. They ensure process reliability and meet the requirements of AMS 2750.
System Accuracy Tests (SAT)
As secondary standards in accordance with AMS 2750, our test thermocouples are ideal for comparison measurements (SAT). Examples of applications:
| Industry | Application |
|---|---|
| Aviation (NADCAP) | Calibration of Heat Treatment Furnaces for Aircraft Components |
| Automotive Industry (CQI-9) | Quality Control in Heat Treatment Processes |
| Metalworking | Precise Temperature Monitoring in Industrial Furnaces |
Calibration Measurements
With an optional DAkkS calibration certificate, our test thermocouples can also be used to calibrate other temperature sensors, ensuring the highest accuracy and compliance with standards.
