All thermo-control Körtvélyessy GmbH thermocouples are pressure-resistant up to 20 bar overpressure. However, the process connection is the limiting factor, which forces the maximum pressure to be limited to a lower pressure.
Small flange connections are permitted by standard up to an overpressure of 1.5 bar. From previous experience, operation at 5 bar is possible. For higher pressures, a support ring and solid clamping rings must be used.
For this high vacuum range, the use of sealing discs made of oxide-free copper is essential.
